I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT SO?! Which means there may be hope for Sandy and all brow-less blonds out there.
I was watching this movie on Netflix a few days ago, and saw ALEC DEACON OMG. I mean, a guy who looks exactly what I imagine Alec to look like! It helped that he was playing a young doctor who thought his love interest was going crazy, but. Yeah.
(It was Dennis Price in A Place of One's Own btw. And since it came out in 1945, I might be able to work that into a fic somehow.)
I love the way you draw Alec. He's like, hot in the way that you'd want a workaholic doctor to be hot, as opposed to suspiciously 'Grey's Anatomy cast member' hot. Meanwhile Laurie is just a fucking... a fucking dweeb.

This is exactly what I was thinking, only you've put it better than I'd managed in my head.
I particularly like the slightly larger head of Alec.
YES. There is nearly handsome, dark Alec, and poor clingy Sandy. Alec looks so trapped and claustrophobic, but Sandy hasn't cottoned on. Andrew is getting cuter by the day and poor Laurie doesn't know whether he's coming or going. I watched Mrs. Miniver a few days ago on AMC, just to see the uniforms and the blackouts, and hear the take cover and all clear sirens. Mr. Miniver took his small cabin cruiser out to Dunkirk to help the evacuation. Our boys were out there too. I was looking for Mrs. Odell's hat in the small town church.
